Hello! IRIT Canada Inc. was founded by an irrigation expert in 2019, eager to blend age-old industries with new and innovative technologies. The idea behind IRIT Canada started as a way to help farmers who face daily challenges due to climate change and other factors beyond their control to monitor their operations with ease.

A flourishing agricultural economy has been hindered by a shift in focus towards industrialization, bureaucratic practices, poor management of terrain, limited alternative methods, and a shortage of skilled labor.

IRIT Canada wants to lend a helping hand to the hardworking farming community by making IoT and SCADA technologies accessible, convenient, and customized to ultimately save farmers money and time. The realization that these sensors can greatly benefit other industries led the company to projects beyond the agricultural sector – into both the public and private sectors – in Six main areas:

  1. Water Delivery Management and Water Conservation
  2. Greenhouse Microclimate Monitoring Systems
  3. Wireless Soil Moisture Monitoring Systems
  4. Irrigation Management
  5. Real-time E. Coli Detection Technology
  6. Lean Management and profit improvement strategy
